Accessible Parking / Drop off Points
Accessible Parking – Strand Road Carpark
*Please note: spaces cannot be booked in advance.
Accessible Drop Off – Foyleview Apartments Carpark (access via Lesley Retail Park, Strand Road – behind Smyth’s Toy Store)
Existing City Centre Car Parks including Foyleside Shopping Centre (East 24hr Carpark) and Quayside Shopping Centre Carpark open until Midnight each Night – accessible parking is available.
Free car parking will be available at Ulster University Campus (Magee) from 5.00pm Friday until Sunday – accessible parking is available.
Accessible Viewing Point For Fireworks ( Saturday 29th )
Accessible Viewing on Saturday 29th June – Strand Road Car Park. * No booking available, allocation on a first come basis. |
Quiet Space / Sensory Space Provision
Quiet Space – Festival Family Hub located at the side of the Council Offices during the Festival.
A Quiet Space is available within this Hub.
Throughout the Festival a sensory room / quiet space will be available in the Guildhall.
The space will be accessible during Guildhall opening hours.
Monday – Friday 9:00am – 8:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 9:00am – 6:00pm
Accessible Toilets
Accessible Toilets are available at the Welfare Location the Festival Family Hub at Council.
Baby changing facilities available at the Family Festival Hub

Safety Bands & JAM cards (Just A Minute)
Available at Information Points. Safety Wrist Bands enable parents, guardians & carers to put contact number on the wristband should the child/ vulnerable person be lost or found.
JAM (Just a Minute) Cards – for individuals who require extra time to complete task and/or communicate effectively.
Cards are available at Information Points.
Shop Mobility Foyle

Shop Mobility Foyle loans out mobility scooters, wheelchairs and rollators.

Expect noise levels to be high and large crowds within festival site.
